20th Annual Harvest Jubilee and Wine Festival
Noon to 6 p.m., Sept. 28 (rain date Oct. 5)
Avoca Museum, 1514 Main St., Altavista
The 20th Annual Harvest Jubilee & Wine Festival will feature wines from six area wineries: Sans Soucy Vineyards, Rebec, The Homeplace Vineyard, Tomahawk Mill, Hunt’s Vineyard, and Bright Meadows Farm.
The event will also feature live music from The Low Low Chariot, Jodie Davis and Barefoot West. Avoca will feature local craft and merchandise vendors, food concessions, an adult-supervised bounce house and the annual Avoca bake sale.
Tickets include six tastings and a keepsake tasting glass.
Early Bird Tasting tickets are $15 until September 27th at 5pm.
General Admission Tickets are $20 at the gate (cash only).
Non-tasting tickets are $10 for ages 12 and older
$5 for children ages 6 to 11
FREE for children ages 5 and younger

Tickets are available at the Altavista Chamber of Commerce, The Bank of the James (Altavista branch), First National Bank (Altavista branches) Miller’s Jewelry, Airabella Flowers and Gifts, Avoca Museum and online!
Online ticketing ends at 5 PM on Friday, September 27.
(Tickets purchased online will be available at a Will Call table at the festival's entrance, but online ticket purchases will be confirmed via e-mail.)
No outside food or drinks or pets allowed. There is no ATM on site, so bring cash!
