Annual Harvest Jubilee & Wine Festival
| Annually, Avoca hosts a huge wine festival. Many different vineyards are represented and visitors may taste wines from all around the area.
The festival also includes live music and games for children.

Avoca will host its annual Harvest
Jubilee and Wine Festival this year on September 15th
from noon until 6pm featuring 6 Virginia wineries: The
festival will include music from The Island Breeze
band, playing classics including Jimmy Buffet, and
Leslie Brooks with a R& B sound. Crafts food and
refreshments will be available. There will be a
children’s area with an inflatable bouncer, crafts and
more!
Discounted pre-sale tasting
tickets are on sale at any First National Bank of
Altavista location or Miller’s Jewelry.
