Mission

Avoca Museum and Historical Society collects, preserves, and interprets the cultural and natural history of the Altavista area and of Campbell County for the education and enjoyment of present and future generations.

Vision

Avoca Museum seeks to create a unique experience for the greater Altavista area and its visitors by providing a venue for special cultural events while preserving and interpreting the many layers of our local history.
